Learn to Play
Learn to Play is an introductory skills program for all infants and primary school children who want to learn the fundamentals of basketball.
It is designed as an effective pathway for primary school children to develop individual skills and enhance teamwork skills in a fun and safe learning environment for all children.
Each week we will also play a game of Basketball, and help prepare players for the move to our Rookies (U/8 & U/10) and Junior Club Competition (U/12 & U/14).
Free Aussie Hoops Player Pack—including: Basketball, T-Shirt, Water Bottle & Sweat Band for all players registering for the first time.

Newcastle Basketball Stadium,
Corner Young & Curley Road Broadmeadow
When:
Monday or Tuesday Afternoon
Time:
Kinder–Year 4—4:15 to 5:00pm
Year 3-Year 6—5:15pm to 6:00pm
Learn to Play is an 8 (eight) week program, and in 2010 will run in the following weeks:

Term 1
– week beginning Mon 8th February – week beginning Mon 29th March

Term 2
– week beginning Mon 10th May – week beginning Mon 28th June
·
Term 3
– week beginning Mon 2nd August – week beginning Mon 20th September
·
Term 4
– week beginning Mon 25th October – week beginning Mon 13th December
