WE NEED YOU!
Now that the proposal for the Hunter Indoor Sports Centre is with the Independent Planning Commission, we have reached the final hurdle. That means that we need our community to turn up more than ever.
If you want to see the HISC come to life, you have a crucial role to play.
Community impact is one of the key considerations for the Independent Planning Commission, so as members of Newcastle’s Basketball community it is our duty to let them know how much of a positive impact this project will have on us all.
Online submissions are the best and easiest way to share your thoughts with the Independent Planning Commission. You will only have the opportunity to do so until the 29th of November, so we strongly encourage anybody who is passionate about the development of the Hunter Indoor Sports Centre to make a submission in support of the project and spread the word ASAP.
For those who are able, we also strongly encourage you to Register to attend the IPC’s public meeting being held at UON’s Callaghan Campus on November 19th.
As the IPC has the final say on this project, their approval will mean that the development of the HISC has been confirmed, and that this submission will be your last.
The finish line is in sight, so let’s cross it together.
