U8’s and 10’s COMPETITION
U8’s (players born in 2019 & 2020)
Under 8’s games are played Saturday mornings between 8am-11am (times vary each week). Under 8’s are skills sessions followed by 3 on 3 games with game managers to help with skills development and rule understanding. Clubs will liaise with players in forming teams and allocating volunteer coaches for each term. Players are provided a singlet which is kept for the games and then returned at the end of the final game.
Under 8’s Term 3 Competition Information:
- First round: Saturday 25th July
- Round 7: Saturday 19th September
- 7 weeks of games (No rounds 1st August & 5th September)
- Skills sessions: Sunday 9th August: 9:00am -10:30am & Sunday 30th August: 8:30am -10:00am
- Cost: $105 + Annual Registration Fee: $66 (cost reflects 7 weeks of competition)
Under 10’s (players born in 2017 & 2018)
Under 10’s games are played Thursday afternoons between 3:45pm-5:45pm (times vary each week). Under 8’s are welcome to play in this competition. Under 10’s are 5 on 5 games with game managers to help with skills development and rule understanding.
Clubs will liaise with players in forming teams and allocating volunteer coaches for each term. Players are provided a singlet which is kept for the games and then returned at the end of the final game.
Under 10’s Term 2 & 3 Competition Information:
- First round: Thursday 23rd April
- Last round: Thursday 24th September
- 19 weeks of games included.
- Skills Sessions: Sunday 9th August: 9:00am -10:30am & Sunday 30th August: 8:30am -10:00am
- Cost: $265 + Annual Registration Fee

- If you have done Future Falcons or Mini Hoops in the last 2 terms, you should already have a Basketball Connect account. Please login to Basketball Connect as an existing user.
- If you are new to basketball, please register as a new user.
