McDonald Jones Homes builds on its commitment to Newcastle Basketball
The Hunter’s leading residential home builder McDonald Jones Homes has today announced its naming rights sponsorship for the Newcastle Falcons Women’s NBL1 team. The sponsorship comes as the McDonald Jones Homes Falcons sit equal first on the NBL1 East ladder undefeated on six consecutive wins to start the season.
The two-year agreement is an expansion of the local builder’s support for Newcastle Basketball which began in 2021.
McDonald Jones Marketing Manager, Kate Griffith, said the naming rights sponsorship for the women’s team was a natural progression from the partnership with the Junior Competition.
“McDonald Jones is delighted to be supporting women’s sport in Newcastle. The Falcons are an iconic and high performing team, and we are very much looking forward to cheering them on this season,” Mrs Griffith said.
“Our decision to build on our existing sponsorship support reflects the confidence in our relationship with the team at Newcastle Basketball and the great work they do helping young people grow their passion for the sport.”

Newcastle Basketball General Manager, Matt Neason, is thrilled to see the extension of the existing grassroots partnership to also see McDonald Jones Homes back elite Women’s sport.
