The Basketball Association of Newcastle Limited (BANL) invites applications for coaching positions in our 2026 Newcastle Falcons Representative Program.
These roles include teams competing in the Basketball NSW Waratah Junior & Senior Leagues.
Available Positions:
- Junior Representative Boys & Girls Head Coaches (U12, U14, U16, U18)
- Junior Representative Lead Coaches (Second Team and Third Team Coaches)
- Junior Assistant and Development Coaches (all teams)
- Senior Waratah League Coaches (all Waratah programs including Men’s, Women’s, Youth League and Wheelchair)
- Senior Waratah League Assistant and Development Coaches (all Waratah programs)
Applications for NBL1 Coaching positions will be advertised separately.
Prep for Rep – Floor Coach / Selector Court Allocation HERE
Thank you to the coaches that have volunteered to assist with the Prep for Rep trials, commencing Saturday 13 September. Please see the link above for your role and court allocation in each session. We could still use a few more coaches to help out across the 2 weekends. If you are able to assist as a selector or floor coach, please complete the EOI HERE.
We will be having a Prep for Rep meeting at 6pm, Monday 8 September @ Newcastle Basketball Stadium. It would be great to see you all there.
