Prep for Rep – Thank you for registering your child in this year’s ‘Prep for Rep’ at Newcastle Basketball. We hope they enjoyed the trialling process and learnt something from the sessions that were led by some of our most experienced coaches.

The list of athletes that have been selected to progress through to the Representative Trials can be found HERE.

Successful athletes are also invited to join the ‘Falcons Offseason Shootaround’ in preparation for trials (details below).

Representative Trials – REGISTRATIONS FOR THE 2026 REPRESENTATIVE TRIALS ARE NOW OPEN – HERE

*Only 2025 Falcons and successful Prep for Rep athletes are invited to register*

Falcons’ Offseason Shootaround – Starting 9 September & ending 23 October, the Stadium will be opened between 6am-7:30am on Tuesday & Thursday mornings for ‘offseason shootaround’. This is for 2025 Falcons & successful Prep for Rep players only. There will be a $5 shootaround fee for each session taken at the door upon arrival. We hope that players will utilise this time leading up to the 2026 Representative Trials to make strides forward with their game and overall skill development.

2026 Academy – This year, 10 players will be selected for the Academy in each age group for both Boys & Girls. Selections will be made at the Representative Trials. More information regarding the Academy will be made available during the trialing process.
