Senior Competitions
Adult domestic basketball is played three nights a week in our Summer, Winter & Spring competitions at Newcastle Basketball Stadium.
Women: Monday & Thursday from 6pm – 10pm
Men: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 6pm – 10pm
U23 Men: Tuesday 6pm – 10pm
U23 Women: Tuesday 6pm – 10pm
2025 Spring Competition
Competitions begin week commencing 1 September 2025. Finals will be played from 8 December – 18 December.
Requirements: Team shirts with visible front and back playing numbers. One competent score table person per game.

Competition Rules:
– 2 minute warmup
– 4 x 10 minutes quarters
– 1 timeout per team per half with a running clock
– No timeouts in last 5 minutes of the game
– No overtime-final result will stand
– 1 minute quarter time breaks
– 2 minute half time break
– 5 personal fouls per match
– Teams are allowed 5 fouls per quarter before bonus is applied
– The clock will stop in the last minute if the score is within 10 points
* All teams must have a minimum of seven registered and eligible players added to the team (via the team code) by the Friday before the first round of games.
