Updates to Summer Competition for 2025/26
To address feedback, we’re making some changes with the aim to improve fairness, competitiveness and fun for all players – introducing the Premier Division for 2025!

Premier Division (FAQ’s below): 2025 representative players will be invited to join.

Team Registration: Non-representative players must register their teams as usual.

Early Access: Teams from the 2024/25 Junior Summer Competition can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for early registration access.

Waitlist: Solo players can join our waitlist. Teams needing players can contact us to be matched.

- Competition Start (Round 1): Week commencing Monday 13 October 2025
- Final Round (2025):
- Tuesday 9 December
- Wednesday 10 December
- Friday 12 December
- Monday 15 December (to make up for Monday 26 January)
- Competition Resumes (2026): Week commencing Tuesday 27 January (No games on Monday 26 January due to Australia Day)

Registration Fees
$260 + Basketball NSW Annual Membership (if not already paid)
Premier Division – Frequently Asked Questions
- The Premier Division will be open to 2025 representative players.
- An EOI will be sent directly to current rep players to gauge their interest in the competition.
- The invitation may be extended to 2025 Academy athletes, as we aim for 4 teams in each Premier Division.
- Players will be allocated to teams based on age and position.
- Summer Competition is NOT Compulsory for rep players, however, rep players must play in Premier Division if they wish to play.
- Participation of rep players from other associations may be allowed if space permits.
- Teams must provide their own uniforms and Coach.
General Summer Competition – FAQs
- All teams will be required to provide their own team uniforms and Coach.
- A Team Manager will be required to register the team and invite all participating players (including their own child).
- All players must be registered via Basketball Connect prior to the commencement of Round 1.
