U7’S AND U9’S TERM 4 COMPETITION
REGISTRATIONS CLOSED
Competition basketball for kids in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens. Under 7’s & Under 9’s programs are the next step for newcomers & Future Falcons graduates to start playing basketball games.
Under 7’s (players born in 2019 & 2020)
Under 7’s games are played Saturday mornings between 8am-11am (times vary each week). Under 7’s are 3 on 3 games with game managers to help with skills development and rule understanding. Clubs will liaise with players in forming teams and allocating volunteer coaches for each term. Players are provided a singlet which is kept for the games and then returned at the end of the final game.
Under 7’s Term 4 Competition Information:
- First round: Saturday 18th October
- Round 6: Saturday 13th December
- 6 weeks of games (No rounds 1st November, 8th November & 29th November)
- Skills Sessions Dates: Sunday December 7: 9am -10:30am & Sunday December 14: 9am -10:30am
- Cost: $86.25 + Annual Registration Fee (cost reflects 6 weeks of competition)
Under 9’s (players born in 2017 & 2018)
Under 9’s games are played Thursday afternoons between 4pm-6pm (times vary each week). Under 7’s are welcome to play in this competition. Under 9’s are 5 on 5 games with game managers to help with skills development and rule understanding. Clubs will liaise with players in forming teams and allocating volunteer coaches for each term. Players are provided a singlet which is kept for the games and then returned at the end of the final game.
Under 9’s Term 4 Competition Information:
- First round: Thursday 16th October
- Last round: Thursday 11th December
- 9 weeks of games included
- Skills sessions: Sunday December 7: 9am -10:30am & Sunday December 14: 9am -10:30am
- Cost: $125 + Annual Registration Fee

REGISTERING THROUGH BASKETBALL CONNECT:
- If you have done Future Falcons or Mini Hoops in the last 2 terms, you should already have a Basketball Connect account. Please login to Basketball Connect as an existing user.
- If you are new to basketball, please register as a new user.
